Jazz for Justice Returns to Pensacola as Part of the 2025 Foo Foo Festival, Nov. 2, 2025
PENSACOLA, FL (SEPT. 24, 2025) – Get ready for another unforgettable celebration where music and community come together. Legal Services of North Florida (LSNF) is proud to host Jazz for Justice once more on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Museum Plaza, 120 Church St., in the heart of Downtown Pensacola. Admission is free.
Made possible by the Pensacola Foo Foo Festival, Jazz for Justice brings the best of New Orleans and Pensacola jazz to the stage. Attendees will experience world-class jazz performances, delicious food from local restaurants and food trucks, engaging vendors, and family-friendly activities, all while supporting free civil legal help for those most in need across North Florida.
A Showcase of Brass and Jazz
This year’s Jazz for Justice lineup is tuned to perfection, with an afternoon that swings from smooth grooves to high-energy brass explosions.
Kicking things off is a hometown favorite, Whiskey and Water (Pensacola), whose sound flows as effortlessly as their name. With silky jazz vocals poured over Louisiana blues, a splash of reggae, and a kick of Southern rock guitar, they strike the perfect chord to get the crowd swaying.
Keeping the music alive, Bon Bon Vivant (New Orleans) turns up the tempo with a performance that’s equal parts spectacle and soul. Blending indie grit, Americana heart, and that unmistakable Crescent City flair, frontwoman Abigail Cosio and saxophonist Jeremy Kelley craft songs that dance between revelry and reflection, proof that their music is as much storytelling as it is rhythm.
Bringing it all home with a crescendo, the legendary Preservation Hall Brass Band (New Orleans) takes the stage as the event’s headlining act. This all-star brass ensemble, led by trumpeter Mark Braud, carries the torch of New Orleans’ musical heritage. From timeless parade anthems to spirituals and classic jazz standards, their sound is the heartbeat of the Big Easy, and it’s guaranteed to bring the crowd to its feet.
Family-Friendly Fun and VIP Perks
Jazz for Justice offers more than music; it’s a true community event. Families can enjoy interactive science activities from the Pensacola MESS Hall, games, and more. Bring kids, grandparents, for an afternoon that feels like a neighborhood block party with world-class music. Spread out a blanket, set up lawn chairs, and let the little ones dance in the grass while relaxing under the autumn sky. Jazz for Justice makes it easy to enjoy good food, great music, and quality time together in the heart of Downtown Pensacola.
