Legal Services of North Florida share exciting details on what its musical event will bring to close out Foo Foo Festival this year

For anyone familiar with Foo Foo Festival, the annual event in recent years has ended on a high note with Legal Services of North Florida’s (LSNF) Jazz for Justice. LSNF’s Director of Philanthropy Brian Stewart recently joined us to share what’s on the agenda thus far for 2022.

Q: Congratulations on being a Foo Foo Festival grant recipient this year! What does it mean to you to be a grant recipient and have the opportunity to once again close out the festival?

A: We’re thrilled about not only being part of Foo Foo but also being one of the bookends and getting to close it out. We are grateful to Foo Foo to allow us to get these great acts. We couldn’t do it without them.

Q: Tell us about what you’ve got planned for patrons this year.

A: It will be a fun afternoon of music and activities, with a true festival feeling. People will be able to enjoy some of their favorite bands, who will actually have longer to play on stage this year. As always, it will be a family-friendly event where people can bring their own picnic and pick a spot in the grass to enjoy all of the music. We’re going to have some great acts, and if you enjoyed the music last year, I have no doubt you’re absolutely going to enjoy our announcement this year.

Q: There will be some other family-friendly activities to enjoy between acts as well, right?

A: Gallery Night Pensacola agreed to return this year, so we’ll have booths set up where people can do some shopping, and new this year, Pensacola MESS Hall will be in attendance as well with some activities for kids and those young at heart.

Q: Any other changes to expect this year?

A: Yes, this year the event is moving to Museum Plaza, an outdoor amphitheater with an outdoor stage. But just like in years past, the event is free and open to the public. There will be, however, VIP ticket opportunities for guests to purchase that will offer a few more options.

Q: What’s the date we need to get on the calendar?

A: Sunday, November 13. The time is still TBD, but it will be an afternoon of music with the final act going on as the sun goes down.
