Foo Foo on the Menu

In 2023, the Foo Foo Fest Committee welcomes the addition of the “Foo Foo on the Menu” program, celebrating the culinary arts in Pensacola as part of this year’s anniversary events. In its inaugural year, the Committee has tapped seven local restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee shops, and more to create inspired menu items as part of Foo Foo Fest. Each partner has created item(s) that represent the vibe, feeling, culture, and Fall season in Pensacola. Visit each location individually or by participating in our 10th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt

  • Breakfast of Champions with Jitterbug Beverage Co.
Jitterbug Beverage Co. is one of the only gluten-free kitchens in Pensacola. For this year’s Foo Foo Fest, Jitterbug has created the Kiki Churro Foo Foo Gluten-Free Waffle Sticks, served with an Ecuadorian cacao dipping sauce, whipped Chevre cheese, and miso-apple caramel.
  • Relax with an Ice-Cold Foo Foo Brew at ALGA Beer Company
A must-try staple on Pensacola’s ale trail, ALGA Beer Company has brewed a limited-time Foo Foo Anniversary Ale – a grapefruit hazy IPA. The first 50 customers to order this signature draft brew will receive a complimentary specialty pint glass. The beer will also be available for purchase in bottles.
  • Grab a Foo Foo Fest Doughnut at Parlor Doughnuts
This November, guests are invited to have a “hole” lot of fun with a Foo Foo Matcha Monster Doughnut at Pensacola’s downtown craft doughnut and coffee shop. The Matcha Monster features matcha, cinnamon maple glaze filled with raspberry jelly, and is finished with whipped topping, crushed pistachios, and a raspberry drizzle.
  • Stop in for Something Special at Brother Fox
One of Pensacola’s newest restaurants, Brother Fox is located at Lily Hall – a boutique lodging house in Historic Downtown Pensacola. Throughout Foo Foo Fest, guests can order the Foo Foo Fritto Misto from Chef Darian Hernandez, featuring calamari fried in squid ink, garlic aioli, flash-fried herbs, and romesco sauce.
  • Enjoy Delicious Handmade Gelato Worth the Trip
Inspired by travels to Italy, Lamonte Gelato is Pensacola’s new hand-made gelato shop. Enjoy the Foo Foo Gingerbread Latte. It will include a scoop of gingerbread gelato (Biscoff Cookie Butter + Fall Spice) plus a scoop of Espresso Gelato (made with Alla Prima custom coffee blend)
  • Pull Up a Stool and Enjoy Carmen’s Lunch Bar & Tapas
A local favorite, Carmen’s Lunch Bar & Tapas is serving up the FooFana Cubana Sandwich – featuring slow-roasted pork, Boar’s Head sweet slice ham, imported Swiss cheese, and yellow mustard and pickle relish on a toasted ciabatta roll.
  • Stop in at the End of the Line Cafe for a Pot of Pho
One of northwest Florida’s first vegan restaurants, guests are invited to try the Foo Foo Pho from Chef Casey Cook, featuring onion, garlic, ginger, star anise, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, rice vinegar, potato, carrot, jalapeno, enoki mushroom, rice vermicelli, Thai basil, mint, and pea tendrils.
