309 Punk Project is throwing a Night on the Tracks Block Party in Old East Hill in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Foo Foo Fest!
Night on the Tracks kicks off with a participatory DIY street parade featuring a drum line, puppet troupe, and YOU.
Following the parade, the Night on the Tracks Block Party will ensue with food trucks, an artisan market, and interactive science and math games presented by Pensacola MESS Hall. The Block Party offers four significant features:
- A streetside art exhibition by Panhandle Slim presented by the 309 Punk Project
- Outdoor live music and video with Songwriter Rounds at From the Ground Up Community Garden
- An open-air film event hosted by Calliope Films at The Rails on Wright Street event space
- To close out the night, a live concert featuring Rymodee, Austin Lucas, and Dave Dondero at The Handlebar.

The Night on the Tracks Block Party and all of the following events are taking place on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Night on the Tracks includes food trucks, artisans, and info tables plus four significant features (described below) at staggered times at various locations along the railroad tracks in eclectic Old East Hill. Interspersed throughout the area will be interactive science and math games presented by Pensacola MESS Hall.
- The event kicks off at 4:00 p.m. with the participatory DIY street parade from 813 E. LaRua Street in Old East Hill to From the Ground Up Community Garden, 501 N Hayne St. FREE. All ages.
- Streetside exhibition of art by Panhandle Slim presented by the 309 Punk Project
- When: 5:00 – 9:00 p.m
- Where: Wright Street near 6th Avenue, 502 E Wright St.
- Tickets: FREE

- Outdoor live music and video with Songwriter Rounds hosted by Katie Dineen, in conjunction with the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival.
- When: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m
- Where: “From the Ground Up Community Garden,” 501 N Hayne St.
- Tickets: FREE (w/ love offering accepted)
- All ages
- Open-air film event featuring screenings of short films and projected art hosted by Calliope Films with opportunities for attendees to interact with the filmmakers and artists.
- When: 7:00-10:00 p.m.
- Where: The Rails on Wright Street event space, 502 E Wright St.
- Tickets: FREE
- All ages with parental discretion.
- Live concert featuring Rymodee (San Francisco, singer-songwriter, punk, folk, and country), Austin Lucas (Bloomington IN, singer-songwriter, alt-country, and folk punk), and Dave Dondero (singer-songwriter).
