Artist Tra Bouscaren is creating a multimedia artwork specifically constructed for the Lamar Studio in the AnnaLamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts at PSC.
Bouscaren is an artist focused on the American spectacle at the crossroads of waste culture and the surveillance state. His work has been featured at U.S. venues such as the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia and Lincoln Center in New York and featured worldwide in venues such as the National Museum of Art in Addis Ababa and the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art in Seoul. Bouscaren is currently Assistant Professor of Art and Digital Media Area Head at Florida State University.
